Nice to meet you!

I’m Nina, a Cognitive Science student at UC San Diego. As a kid, I’ve been captivated by ways to enhance everyday experiences, spending countless hours drawing, animating, and editing videos. This early passion evolved when I discovered the field of UI/UX design in college, where I found the perfect blend of creativity and problem-solving.

Through projects like CheerU, which helps students track their mental health, and KMI, aimed at improving diagnostic efficiency for medical professionals, I learned how to tackle real-world challenges with design. My time at Aako allowed me to dive into teamwork while creating engaging VR experiences, where we combined our ideas and skills to develop user-friendly features and interfaces. Ultimately, I’ve come to understand that design is about more than just aesthetics—it's about crafting solutions that are both engaging and easy to use.
